Michelle Ward

Michelle Frix Ward is a retired educator from Calhoun City Schools (Georgia). During her tenure there, she served as a teacher, Academic Coach, Assistant Principal, Principal, and Assistant Superintendent. Although born and raised in Calhoun, Michelle chose to move to Dalton in 2017 after marrying her husband, Eric Ward. They both love being part of the Dalton community and Rock Bridge church family.

Michelle had always enjoyed being active through dance and martial arts, but fell in love with fitness in 2014 and decided to pursue her “retirement plan” and become a certified Personal Trainer. She is also a certified Group Fitness Teacher, High Fitness, High Low, Yoga, and Barre Instructor. She currently teaches at Peak Fitness and FitnessBarre.  Michelle is also a Gifted Endorsement Instructor who teaches classes for educators and continues to work with the Gordon County United Way as the Campaign Chairperson and Dancing with the Stars choreographer.
