SABRINA SAMUDIO-RUIZ

I have a background in gymnastics, but I grew up salsa dancing since my family is from Colombia South America.

In 2010, I found Zumba and then decided to get licensed to teach it in June 2011. I have been teaching ever since and loving every moment of it. I initially started as a sub at Exotica in Motion in Albuquerque (Old Town), but I later begged the owner to hire me as a instructor with my own class. She agreed. When that studio went out of business, I began renting studio space at several studios around town and incorporated as a Limited Liability Corporation (LLC) Sabrina's Z CREW, LLC. I sold my own classes and ran my business renting space at studios by the hour. In 2016, I opened my very own studio and continue to run my business with help from several of my students who have also become instructors. We now have 8 instructors teaching classes in my studio. I operate as the owner and lead instructor at the studio and I handle all aspects of the business including advertising, accounting, event promotion etc.
