Kayla McCarthy

Kayla has always been focused on making her mind and body stronger.  Determined to to teach mindful movement to people around the world Kayla pursued a well rounded education.  In 2016 Kayla not only completed an undergraduate degree in Community Health and Prevention Sciences from the University of Montana, she completed a 9 month intensive 200-hr Yoga Instructor Training course (specializing in Hatha, Vinyasa & Meditation) but she also completed a 200hr Pilates Instructor training course. It was a busy year!

Once fully certified to teach Pilates and Yoga, Kayla put her training into practice and began teaching Pilates and Hatha Yoga at Main Street Pilates Studio, Peak Health & Wellness, Bikram Yoga, University of Montana Recreation Center, and in Municipal Parks all over the city of Missoula Montana. As if her schedule wasn’t busy enough, 
Kayla got married, started a family and decided to settle down in Butte, Montana. 
 After the move, Kayla wasted no time in establishing herself in the health & wellness industry in Butte.  She began teaching Pilates and PiYo at the Fitness Courts, the local YMCA and at InMotion Studio.  After time invested developing her teaching style, Kayla followed her dream of opening her own Pilates Studio in January of 2019 - KaylaJane Pilates Studio.  KaylaJane Pilates is a thriving multifaceted mindful movement studio that tailors movements to encourage a stronger mind and body.  In order to meet the needs of her clientele during the pandemic, Kayla created an On Demand service and currently has over 80 subscribers worldwide. 
 
Over the last five years, Kayla has specialized in teaching Yoga & Pilates to many different walks of life; young kids, hard working men & women with back pain, pregnant & postpartum women, current & former athletes, lovely dog-moms/dads wanting to continue their active lifestyle with their pets, avid mountain bikers/skiers/snowboarders/hikers and anyone seeking to improve their core strength, body alignment, mobility, flexibility, stamina and stability. Kayla believes whole heartedly that Pilates & Yoga are for everybody at any stage of life.


Kayla is dedicated to her career, level of education and takes every opportunity to improver her knowledge base with continuing education and instructor trainings.  Kayla has the experience, knowledge, skills and ability to teach anyone interested in learning and improving the tried and true method of mindful movement.
