Bonnie has been teaching group fitness since 1989. She began teaching step aerobics in local gyms and took her first yoga teacher training with YogaFit in Hermosa Beach, California in 1992, just when the NEW yoga revolution started taking off, and she has been pursuing her yoga teaching career ever since.
After completing a 6 month yoga teacher intensive program with Cloud Nine Yoga, Bonnie was then hired and managed a very successful yoga and group fitness program for Spectrum Athletic Club in Redondo Beach, California for several years. Continuing to pursue her love of teaching creative and informative classes, Bonnie attended an advanced yoga teacher certification program with Yoga Mitta in Manhattan Beach, California; a yoga school she returns to often to take specialty workshops and stay connected with her yoga tribe.
Bonnie is passionate about fitness and healthy eating. She consistently seeks out new experiences and researches the latest therapies surrounding health, vitality, longevity and tranquility to share with her students on a weekly basis. Bonnie's students trust her advice and knows she always has her students' best interests at heart.
In addition to formal training and thousands of hours teaching Yoga, Yoga Stretch, Therapy Ball Massage, and Strength Training, Bonnie has also studied a variety of meditation practices and modalities which she incorporate into her fitness classes.
Bonnie is also deeply aware of how music and sound can influence the way people feel "vibrationally" and she includes well crafted musical playlists to accompany all of her class formats.
