Having been involved in sports my whole life, health and fitness has and always will be an important part of me. I’ve played many sports but my passion was springboard diving which I competed in for eight years. After graduating from college with my bachelors degree in Exercise and Sport Science, I began a career in marketing and I also became a springboard diving coach for a private high school in our area. After five years of coaching, I took a break to start a family.
I was reintroduce to fitness in the form of group classes, bootcamp to be exact. I quickly fell in love and became obsessed! I soon began instructing classes for a nonprofit organization and was with them for two years. From there, I moved to the local recreation center and have been teaching bootcamp classes for a little over a year now. I truly enjoy what I do. I love to be active and to help others reach their goals. My classes vary from body weight to weighted to cardio or a mixture of all three! We push each other and have so much fun. Each workout is different but I cater them to each person in my class. I give modifications as needed to make things easier or harder! My favorite style of bootcamps are tabata and EMOM’s.
When I am not working out, I am running after my four beautiful children, spending time with my supportive husband or volunteering at church. I also enjoy yoga classes and long walks to the park.
