Anique Reese

I was born in France, but I have lived in the wonderful city of Austin, Texas most of my life.  I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Following graduation, I taught both kindergarten and first grades. I went on to receive my Master Reading Teacher certification, and became a reading and writing coach with Austin Independent School District.

Five years ago, my path in education came full circle, when I accepted a new position as a Senior Program Coordinator with Literacy First at the University of Texas. I am currently employed at UT in addition to working as a personal trainer at Gold's Gym. I am the happy mother of one amazing son.
