Katherine Fowler

The name I go by is Katie, which I believe fits my personality perfectly. I am a 27 year-old bubbly, high energy full-time fitness professional, who is a wife, and mother of 1. I am the owner of a Pilates Personal Training studio, who believes fitness is the fountain of youth; exercise isn't an option it's a must. To me doing what I do is a blessing and priviledge. Not just anyone can and will be trusted by people with their hopes, goals, health and fears, and I have been blessed to be one of those few. I have always done some type of exercise since my youth. I was on varsity track, swim, and softball teams. I was the school mascot, and was on the NJROTC drill, athletic and obstacle course teams. I actually participated in the Navy JROTC nationals physical training events 3 years in a row, competing in the push-up/ sit-up competitions. My hobbies are rollerblading, running, and trying new forms of exercise. I love competing in 5k & 10k races, as well as, sprint triathlons. My husband and I make them family events and run with our son in the jogging stroller. My passion is helping women and youth girls realizing the truth about their bodies. I want them to know that the world tells them they are to be a perfect size 0, but this is a falsehood. God has made all of us a perfect size we just have to work to find it. That size may be a size 8 or 12, but as long as we are eating properly and exercising our bodies are going to find that size. The biggest compliment and best reward to me is for a client to tell me that they are fitting into their goal size, or that they've never felt better. To know that I've helped someone to improve their quality of life is why I do and love what I do. I wanted to know how to help any and everyone I met, so I am continually learn the best and newest ways to exerxise. I also wanted to see what I felt was the best way to exercise so I've tried everything. The most benefical form of fitness to me is Pilates. I've seen more change and improvement in not only myself, but all my clients with the style of contempary athletic Pilates that I use, than with any other form. Even though I personally believe Pilates is the best, I know that any fitness, no matter what type, is better than no fitness. This is why I have dedicated my life to the pursuit of fitness and exercise.
