Deborah Korbel

I have a history of life coaching in my former career as a cosmetologist and am a 200 hour yoga instructor.  I have a passion for the out doors and helping people with life coaching and yoga practice to elevate each individual. 
Born in Minnesota drawn to the out door activities in Colorado I moved there at age 20.  I live in a place that people come for vacation “ The Roaring Fork Valley” of Colorado. I have a passion for being active outdoors especially with friends.

I was raised Catholic in a family of 9.  Being the oldest daughter I took on the mommy number 2 roll for my siblings as my mother worked evenings. I graduated school from a catholic high school in Minneapolis where I began a deeper exploration of my spiritual journey.  I received an academic scholarship to the University of Minnesota and was financially self supporting shortly after high school.

I opened a salon/spa in Glenwood Springs, Co.which I worked and managed for 33 of my 38 year career as a cosmetologist. 

I have practiced yoga for 25 years and healed myself through yoga after a serious cycling accident in 2015 that rendered me incapable of running my business. I had pulmonary contusion, hematomas on my brain, nine fractures and a pulmonary embolism which 75% of people die from. I am still here to help people to live the best life possible through life coaching and elevating oneself through yoga practice.
