Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, Jooyeon is an AFAA Certified Group Exercise Instructor. Her first Zumba class was in 2007 and she fell in love with it the first session she attended. At that time, she was an interior designer working for an architecture company in San Francisco. Even though she was into art & design her entire life, she always had a passion for dancing, working out, and bringing people energy. A few years later, she decided to take her passion and turn it into her profession. For the past seven years, Jooyeon has been bringing energy and happiness to others through her classes.
Her classes are fun and high-energy which give the entire body a workout with catchy music and easy-to-follow movements. Seeing her students shake off stress, sweat, smile, and let loose makes her happy.
