Marilyn Bouchard is a physical therapist and certified yoga instructor known for her dedication to health, wellness, and the transformative power of movement. Raised in Québec near the Vermont border, Marilyn’s French-speaking upbringing made her perfectly bilingual in both French and English and sparked her early love for an active lifestyle. Twice named Athlete of the Year in high school, she developed a lifelong passion for movement and holistic well-being.
Marilyn graduated from McGill University with a B.Sc. in Physical Therapy in 1995. She began her career at Bethesda Memorial Hospital in Boynton Beach, Florida, where she spent five years and embraced endurance sports, running the Disney Half or Full Marathon for five consecutive years and earning her scuba diving certification.
After Florida, Marilyn joined North Country Hospital in Vermont, expanding her specialties in pelvic floor rehabilitation and in osteopathic approach. Her decade in the U.S. enriched her clinical skills and deepened her commitment to empowering others to achieve optimal health.
In 2006, Marilyn spent a year in Singapore, immersing herself in daily yoga practice. This experience ignited her passion for yoga, which she continued to nurture after returning to Québec in 2007, where she opened her physical therapy clinic and embraced family life with her husband and three sons.
A lifelong learner, Marilyn has pursued extensive continuing education. With over 20 years of yoga practice, over the course of 2019 to 2021, she completed her 500-hour teacher training with Hart Lazer and Donna Reed. She also holds specialized certifications in “Yoga for Healthcare Professionals” and “Yoga for the Pelvic Floor.”
Marilyn has cultivated a personal meditation practice for several years, deepening her mindfulness and well-being through regular commitment. As a meditation leader, she has guided individuals for years and have facilitated group meditation sessions since 2024, fostering a supportive space for collective growth and inner peace.
Marilyn is celebrated for her deep anatomical understanding, compassionate teaching style and her belief in the power of movement to support healing and personal growth, inspiring clients and students to discover their own path to wellness.
