Kate Perez-Wilson Bio 

 

Kate has been a fitness professional for 20 years, the last five of which she has spent at the Valley Shore YMCA. She began her professional fitness career in Boston, MA where she worked for Healthworks Fitness Centers for Women as an instructor  before quickly taking over as the full-time Group Fitness Director. She continued her journey as both an instructor and Group Ex Director in two of their busiest health centers in Boston’s Back Bay and in the Cambridge, MA Porter Square locations for 5 years before relocating with her family back to her native CT.  “I absolutely LOVE what I do. Making Fitness a part of your daily routine is hard work and it takes a strong drive. If I can make fitness challenging AND fun, I can help people commit to a healthier lifestyle.”

 

In 2017 she was accepted as a Master Trainer for Savvier Fitness in their Tabata Bootcamp and Tabata GX programs.  Certifications include: AFAA for group fitness, NASM for Personal Training, Peak Pilates Mat 1, Barre Above, Yoga 1 and 2, Les Mills Body Pump, MOSSA Group Strength, Urban Rebounding and many more (see resume below)

 

Kate Became a Certified Reiki Master in 2024 and is currently building a Reiki business in addition to her professional fitness practice.
