My name is Alexandra (Ali) Greco and I am a Registered Physiotherapist and a certified Body Harmonics level 1 Mat and level 2 reformer Pilates instructor in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. I have always had a passion for movement, health and well being which has driven me to pursue Physiotherapy. Over the years I have participated in Pilates classes and fallen in love with this type of exercise and movement. Pilates gives individuals whole body strength and mobility which can therefore help with the rehabilitation of numerous conditions/injuries. As I continued my Physiotherapy education and placements, I realized how great Physiotherapy and Pilates would pair together. I have seen multiple clinics in Southern Ontario work to combine these two disciplines and demonstrate great successes with patients. My ultimate goal throughout my career is to share with the world how amazing and beneficial both Physiotherapy and Pilates is for the body. I believe I can help those around me move more efficiently and comfortably with Pilates of all levels and types. Outside of Physiotherapy and Pilates, I love to move at the gym and outside! I have recently taken up cross country skiing and snow shoeing as hobbies and hope to learn how to downhill ski next year. Another passion of mine is traveling. Over the last 4 years I have not been able to experience much travel while pursing my education and completing national exams. My goal is to plan at least 1 trip per year as I believe in a healthy work life balance and living life to the fullest. I think traveling and experiencing different cultures is very important, especially when living in a small city in Northern Ontario. There are so many great countries and cultures in this world I have yet to see and I hope to be able to share my passions with individuals all around the world!
