Shona began her journey toward mindfulness when she stumbled across a meditation class during college. In 2006 the asana/yoga aspect began once she started taking time for herself while both of her girls were in school. Yoga has been a catalyst component of her life as a stay home mom, a registered nurse and as a human.
As she began to feel the transformation yoga had in her life she felt inspired to share the gift of yoga with others. Shona believes the mind, body, soul connection is a sacred one, and one that should be explored and nurtured regularly. With that mentality, she teaches her classes from her heart creating an uplifting, safe environment for students to begin to explore and expand within their own body and consciousness. You will find her classes to be gentle and slow-flowing with a longer rest period at
