I have always wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. I find this strong desire to serve in elements of my childhood experiences, religious heritage, sense of community and a genuine love of science. After years of practice in the medical field, over the past decade I chose to help people improve their quality of life before they required medical intervention. I have worked as a personal trainer, group fitness coach and yoga instructor for the majority of my adult life. My experiences have afforded me a chance to work for some of the most compassionate and caring physicians, knowledgeable and charismatic trainers, but also the most understanding and rational instructors. I work to provide functional, innovative and educational experiences in such a way that impacts people on many levels, not only physically, but mentally as well. My aspirations include improving the quality of life within my community. The opportunity to reach out worldwide affords a chance to provide the total health objectives and aspirations I strive to provide my own clients, students and every person I interact with. I have learned, I must find my ultimate satisfaction in meeting human needs. If indeed, a man is the sum of his experiences, then this personal statement describes who I am.
