Terry Hind became a certified Group Fitness Instructor in 1989 and he has been actively teaching in the fitness community since that time. Terry leads a fun, dynamic and enthusiastic class.  He is a passionate and committed fitness professional.

Since 2003, Terry has actively participated in the cycling community and has enjoyed memberships in local cycling clubs. .

He began practicing yoga intensively in the summer of 2007, in search of a balance between the intensive nature of his cycling and aerobic regimes and the serenity that yoga offered him. Terry completed the 200 hour intensive Yoga Teacher Training with Santosha Yoga, Ottawa in 2008-2009. He easily connected with the mind-body paths of yoga and has adapted the yoga philosophy on and off the mat. Yoga has improved his capabilities in cycling, his mental outlook and focus, as well as body awareness and flexibility.

Terry has extensive yoga teaching experience, as well as being a committed yoga practitioner. Since completing his training, he has taught multiple yoga classes every week. He has taught yoga at a variety of corporate and community centres.  He offers a balanced class with energy and enthusiasm.

He was employed at the Soloway Jewish community centre from January 2010 to October 31, 2022. He was a prominent fitness instructor there teaching a large variety of classes which numbered in the range of 45 classes per month!

YOGA (Vinyasa Flow, Hatha and Core Yoga, YIN, Restorative, Mobility & Meditation), Yoga for Children and Adolescents, Chair Yoga for Seniors

Pilates Mind-Body (beginners level, intermediate level and Pilates on the stability ball)
