Running in high school led to a commitment to getting my miles in either on the pavement or on the trails. Once in college, I was able to afford my first gym membership. After taking my first group fitness class, I realized how effective and powerful these groups can be both physically, mentally, and socially. Under the mentorship of a very special trainer, I was coached to become a Group Fitness Instructor and have been at it ever since! From outdoor boot camp to indoor cycling, from powerlifting to garage workouts, and from Insanity® to TRX®, I found a passion not only for teaching but for helping others be their best. This commitment has given me a better understanding of the human body, an appreciation for hard work and long term gains, a strong network of like minded individuals who I continue to learn from, and friendships that will last a lifetime!
Samantha moved from Kentucky to Washington in October of 2015 in hopes of finding something new and different. Her Pacific Northwest journey began at the YMCA where she was hired on as a group fitness instructor and eventually promoted to Senior Health and Well-being Director.
