Carrie Nye Hartwick

I started taking yoga classes in 1996  when a flare from an autoimmune disease left me exhausted, and in pain. Yoga gave me a holistic way to manage my stress, relieve pain and build strength. In 2008 I finished my 200 hour yoga teacher training and began teaching in 2009. in 2019 I completed my additional 300 hour yoga teacher training. I have specific training in restorative yoga, yin yoga, children’s yoga, yoga for trauma & resiliency, and mindfulness. I work at my local Veteran's Hospital teaching yoga for chronic pain, and PTSD, as well as teaching studio classes and teaching a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training program. I am a 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance as well as a continuing education provider. I love teaching people to discover themselves through mindful movement and making yoga accessible for every BODY!
