I’m Jen and I love sharing yoga with anyone willing to try! Before my first yoga class in 2009 I didn’t think yoga was for me because I needed 2 hip replacements and was very overweight. That couldn’t have been farther from the truth. Yoga is for everyone, and doesn’t just include physical postures. There is so much more to it than that. I found out that the physical postures can be modified, and that I could learn a lot about myself that would make me both more confident, and compassionate.
I’ve practiced many styles of yoga since then, and received my 200 hour training from The Yoga & Ayurveda Center in Pennsylvania. I believe that yoga is the constant flow between the physical body, the soul, and the universe and can be practiced in every single moment. My classes relate ancient teachings to our modern world leaving the entire being dynamically awake, centered, and at peace. In my regular classes I incorporate pranayama, meditation, and the asanas in a gentle relaxed Hatha style.
