Kimber Cockerell

My name is Kimber Cockerell and I live in Lubbock, Texas. I am a  full-time faculty member at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing as an Instructor/ Site Coordinator. My background in nursing is in Pediatrics and Neonatal ICU. I am married to a Lubbock Firefighter and we have two boys, Hudson (2), and Cooper (5mo). Patrick and I love to travel and do anything outdoors with our boys. I started taking classes at Pure Barre when I was 7 months pregnant with Hudson. I loved everything about the motivation and community that surrounded Pure Barre. After returning postpartum I was asked if I would want to teach. I went to training was Hudson was 2 months old and have loved every minute of teaching since then. My fitness goals and ambitions would include expanding my certifications and training. I would love to do more group fitness and maybe cycle. My ultimate goal is to help others in everything that I do, whether that is nursing or through fitness.I have always had a passion for fitness and love getting to motivate and inspire others through doing what I love.
