I am Angela Correa from Cali, Colombia, currently living in Hamilton, ON, Canada. I've been a ZIN™ Member since April 2016 and I absolutely LOVE teaching Zumba.
The reason I started my journey as a Zumba instructor is because I love dancing and exercising, these are both my PASSION! Back in my country Colombia, I used to always perform with dance groups at school. Consequently, ever since I moved to Canada, I started looking for an opportunity to continue dancing . The first dance company I came across here in Canada was a Belly Dance company, but even though I fell in love with it; I felt like something was missing. I started to feel the NEED to SHARE my passion for dancing with others.
When looking for this new opportunity, to not only learn new dance skills and grow as a dancer, but also to teach; I came across with Zumba, and my love for it grew really fast because it fit perfectly the part in my life that was missing. Dance and fitness together in one, but also learning and teaching at the same time was the opportunity of a life time I was looking for!
My goal being a Zumba Instructor is to always welcome everybody to move, let your body discover itself through music and forget about being "perfect". Giving all my high energy and enthusiasm in my classes is my purpose, and to motivate you to enjoy the workout while you reach your full potential.
