I played sports at the collegiate level and have always enjoyed an active lifestyle. Volleyball, hiking, and paddle boarding are a few of my favorite past times. I became interested in teaching group fitness after being a participant in classes for several years. I strive to help members accomplish their fitness goals, while making exercise a fun, social and enjoyable experience. I believe teaching group fitness helps me maintain a healthy balance between my full time career and staying fit.
I recently retired from Washington County Public Schools, where I was an elementary school principal. After twenty-two years in the public school system, I decided to switch gears and join my husband's company, in the field of financial planning and benefits. This new career path has allowed amazing flexibility in when and where I work. Therefore, this is an opportune time to explore the possibility of becoming a traveling instructor.
