- Treva Brown
Dr. Treva Brown was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After graduating from Baton Rouge High School, Dr. Brown went on to earn a Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Chemistry from LSU and UNO. She is currently working as a physical scientist for the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory at NASA-Stennis Space Center. However, Dr. Brown has always had a passion for dance and has been teaching Zumba fitness for almost 10 years. Her passion for science and fitness does not stop with her professional career. As Ms. Black Louisiana International Ambassador 2020, Dr. Brown is able to grow this passion, work within the community to change lives and encourage future generations to strive to reach for their dreams.
