Ausra Duverge

Yoga has been a part of Ausra’s life for over 15 years. Since she first began attending yoga classes, her practice has shifted from a physical exercise to a healing art. Her approach to yoga is to use the practice to explore the body/mind connection and to bring awareness to everyday life. She is committed to exploring and meeting the individual needs of her students and making yoga friendly, fun, and accessible to everyone. 

After an initial 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Dubai, UAE, she has continued to expand her knowledge in Ayurveda and Yoga Therapy. In 2017 she completed an Ayurvedic Health Counselor program at Kerala Ayurveda Academy in Fremont, California. She is a Certified Yoga Therapist from an 800-hour Yoga Therapist accredited school in Larkspur, CA. 

Having gone through her own health challenges: scoliosis, hormonal imbalances, anxiety, and insomnia, she has experienced first hand how consistent yoga practice and application of Ayurvedic diet and lifestyle can alleviate symptoms and improve everyday well being.

AYA (Ausra Yoga Ayurveda) Therapy was born out of a desire to share Ausra’s experience on how Yoga and Ayurveda can help safely manage existing health conditions, restore balance and vitality. 

Ausra currently offers private and semi-private Yoga Therapy sessions in person and virtually, at her home studio, or at the client’s place. She also teaches online yoga classes through Thriveability Yoga Studio, as well as weekly outdoor classes at the Sundial park in the Ingleside Terraces neighborhood of San Francisco.
