Amanda Mays, here! I am a YRT Corepower Yoga trained San Diego based yoga instructor and CYO (Chief Yoga Officer) of Pineapple Yoga Retreats, LLC. I’m a native New Yorker, proud military spouse, and new momma. My intention is to create community and facilitate connection through the practice of yoga. I stepped onto the mat in 2014 and haven’t stepped off since. I am a forever student because when I press back to child's pose and take that first expansive ujjayi breath in, the elephant is immediately lifted off my chest. If I can share that awareness with a student even if just for a minute, I’ve fulfilled my purpose on this earth.
