Julie uses her background in competitive gymnastics, snowboarding, and CrossFit to teach students proper activation, alignment, and better spatial awareness of their bodies. She leads classes that incorporate balance and focus to help students bring intentionality to their practice & find purpose both on and off the mat.
Julie began her yoga journey in the center of the Baptiste Power Yoga community in Park City, UT where she completed her 200 hour teacher training (YTT). She began teaching in 2015 and went on to manage the Mind/Body program at her past studio. Julie has completed numerous trainings over the years to deepen her knowledge of yoga and the body. Among these trainings are a 10-hour hands-on anatomy cadaver lab, Baptiste weekend intensive, myofascial release workshops, inversion and arm-balancing workshops, 20-hour hip and knee anatomy lab, and Lightyear Leadership energy work.
