Why Yoga?
Yoga has been the one steady thing in my life – not just the physical asanas, but the meditation and breathwork – it can be done anywhere, anytime, with anyone or all alone. The practices are a way to access the present moment more completely, and it’s been a gift in my life that I love to share with others.
What Inspires You About The HOY Community?
From the first day I walked through HOY’s doors, I felt welcomed and warm (literally!). I’m grateful to be part of this community that thrives on uplifting each other, and love to welcome new Yogis when they show up for the first time.
Why Do You Teach?
Teaching is my Dharma – my true purpose in this life.
It was never something I thought about doing when I grew up, but the opportunity presented itself at just the right time, in just the right way. I feel the most at ease and authentic when I show up in a room full of Yogis and we begin to breathe together.
In those moments, I find contentment and joy.
What Fires You Up Off The Mat?
Cooking/Baking, Gardening, Art, Singing, Dancing.
Being with my husband and 3 sons, our 4 dogs and dozen chickens and ducks.
