Erin was first introduced to yoga as a teenager and practiced intermittently over the years, learning from veteran teachers throughout the USA and Europe. 

Her practice only became consistent, however, when she discovered it helped relieve her chronic hip pain. It was then she learned the healing power of yoga--both physical and emotional--and she often jokes that yoga calms down her type-A tendencies. Erin became a yoga teacher to share the therapeutic benefits of yoga and to demonstrate that yoga is for all bodies.

Erin has been teaching yoga since 2012 and is a writer/editor and mother to two young children. Her yoga moto is “Your body, your practice” as she firmly believes yoga is an individual practice and must be adjusted as needed. Her 200hr yoga training through YogaFit, which focused heavily on alignment, included prenatal/postnatal yoga, kids yoga, and chair yoga on top of the fundamentals.
