My mission is to inspire others to become the best versions of themselves physically, mentally, and spiritually. For as long as I can remember, being active was a great passion of mine. Whether it was participating in team or individual sports in high school or intramurals in college, you could usually find me doing something active. After college, I started to find my next passion at my local YMCA when I was asked to teach a group fitness class. I felt unqualified but something greater was calling me. I went on to teach a variety of group fitness classes including strength training, boot camp, cycling, and personal training/coaching for individuals and groups. I'd say the rest is history, although after a personal injury, I decided to step away from the health and wellness world for several years.
During my time away from teaching and training, I realized the fire in me to continue to empower and encourage others on their fitness journey was still burning inside. I reconnected and appreciated my body in a different way that allows me to provide a body, mind, and spiritual experience for my students. This revelation prompted me to complete my 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification. As the fire burns strong inside of me, I am pursuing the completion of a 300-Hour Yoga Master Program.
Yoga and fitness have become my safe haven in times of stress, fear, celebration, etc. It has brought me lifelong friendships of all ages, all around the world. It has changed my life perspective and purpose, and I want to share that with you! I believe I have been created to help encourage, empower, and equip all generations to fulfill their God given purpose and gifts through health and wellness.
