Mary Ann Genuario

I live in Ct with my husband and 4 sons,  I attended local schools  and graduated with Business degree from University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida in 1980. I Continued fitness part time while working in my business profession as a comptroller. After many years working part time in the fitness industry I decided to persue fitness as full time career in 1992. I love working with all types of participants at every level. Helping people achieve their fitness goals is the most rewarding part of being in this field.

I currently teach Group Fitness, Les Mills and Mossa,Group Cycling, Pilates Mat and Apparatus. Also certified in Aqua,and a variety of kids fitness classes.Teaching group exercise is fun and allows me to meet many people.  I am an Instructor trainer and  faculty  trainer for YMCA of the USA. This allows me to share my passion for fitness and teach other fitness professionals.

As a personal trainer I work with many different populations.  I hold a number of cretifications but as a certified Exercise physiologist I have the opportunity to help many different types of people looking to change their lifestyle. Training young athletes and helping them reach their goals gives me much pleasure. What gives me the most pleasure though is working with the clients who are suffering from chronic disease and disabilities. As a certified cancer exercise specialist,I am able to give back to those who need it most.
