Rachel Eckard

Rachel started teaching yoga after experiencing a great sense of peace after class like she’d never felt before. She was immediately intrigued and researched as much about the practice and philosophy as she could. It was about five years after that class when she decided to take a teacher training. From 2005 to now she has over 1,250 hours of yoga education and 8 different style certifications, and over 1,000 hours teaching. 

Rachel intelligently designs classes that allow for total body opening and alignment. Incorporating fluid sequencing, breath, mindfulness, and philosophy into her classes. Students leave with a deep sense of peace and awareness. She has been teaching since 2011, and has lead and designed retreats in the U.S. and South America.

She also teaches group fitness and has certificates in Pilates, total body fitness and spin. She is high energy and loves to see people moving and smiling!
