The short version is that I have been teaching Fitness classes since I was 18 when I was certified with Judy Haig. I am now 31 so I guess that is 13 years or so!! (Yikes!) I have taught Hi/Lo, Spin, Yoga, Pilates - you name it I have probably taught it! I actually love researching and preparing to teach new types of classes. Last fall I took a 200+ hour yoga training course that really changed my life. I have revamped our highschool girls P.E program to reflect a more balanced approach to fitness (including yoga and pilates) and started programs in the community for kids and teen yoga. Yoga has really infused its way into all aspects of my life. I teach Partner Yoga workshops and I am the lead Anatomy Teacher for the Balanced Life Yoga Inspiring Spirit Teacher Training Program. I am very committed to leading by example to help foster Healthy Active Living in my school and community!
