I started my yoga journey back in 2009. After my first Bikram class, I signed up for a 60-day challenge because why not! I hated everything about that first class. It was beyond hot and thought everyone in the room was crazy, but the students had this peace about them. My curiosity led me to come back day after day. This yoga has challenged me in more ways than I ever thought possible. This practice can be emotional at times as it truly is a journey of the self, through the self and to the self. It forces you to have complete awareness. When life is more than you can manage, just keep walking through that door. There is only one thing that I love more than this yoga, and its the community. I wanted to share my love of this yoga. In 2019, I became certified to teach the 26&2 Bikram series and Barkan Method Vinyasa. I am also a 200hr RYT with Yoga Alliance. I love teaching my daughter to find her connection to her body through yoga, I love teaching students how to be mindful in their practice and I love reminding people to breathe when we need to be reminded most. Love yourself unconditionally, live with gratitude and be present in the moment especially when on your mat. This practice forces us to look at our own reflection in the mirror and learn how to love ourselves.
