I started exploring the practice of yoga in college, excited to find movement to express my creative energy and find balance. As a former dancer and gymnast, yoga seemed to be a logical next step. Little did I know that it would not only change my body and help me find balance, but it would also completely shift my perspective on life.
I became so inspired by the movement of yoga that I decided to take a deep dive into the practice. In 2017 I enrolled in 250 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Prairie Yoga and in 2018 I received my certificate of completion and became a certified yoga instructor.
My yoga practice has been more rewarding than I could have ever imagined. During Yoga Teacher Training I met my business partner Katy, who shared my passion for movement and introduced me to aerial dance. Katy and I not only share a passion for yoga and aerial fitness, but wellness as a whole. This summer we launched What The Chakra, a wellness blog where we will strive to answer all of your wellness "what the f***s?".
I am finally at a point in my life where all of my passions are working together as one, yoga, design, art and aerial fitness.
