Hello, I'm Natalie Upp. I am the owner of Fired Upp Fitness.

I am a mother, wife, and a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach. I am so grateful I actually get to do what I'm passionate about each and every day... Help moms improve their health and fitness and feel better about themselves. Nothing makes me happier when I know I've made a positive impact on the life of someone I work with, whether that be losing inches/pounds, decreasing their cholesterol points, fitting better into their bathing suit, or enjoying better sleep. It truly brings joy to my life!

At Fired Upp Fitness, I help moms over 35 simplify hormone balance by implementing mindset, nutrition, movement, stress, and sleep habits into their life step-by-step. 

My health journey began in my early 30’s. I suffered from chronic migraines, my skin was dull, my hair was dry and brittle, and my muscle tone was non-existent. I wasn't overweight, but I was "skinny fat". Even after 8 hours of sleep, I was always tired and would have to drag myself out of bed in the morning.

My personal goal was to lose fat, tone up, have more energy, and just feel vibrant and healthy again.  So, I jumped in — feet first and started researching everything I could get my hands on in nutrition and fitness.  I'll admit, I became a bit obsessed, so much that I ended up training myself to compete and place in the bikini division of five fitness competitions. Fitness became such a big part of my life, that I quit my job of 16 years working in a school for students with learning disabilities to become a certified personal trainer and start my own business.

I’ve been a certified personal trainer now since 2015 and I’ve worked with hundreds of people in that time.  I've had drive and motivation for anything fitness and nutrition for over a decade.

I love working with people and being a coach. I began my adult career as an Occupational Therapist, so I have always found the body and mind fascinating.  I believe fitness and a healthy lifestyle should be fun, effective, and fit a person's lifestyle for the long-term -- not a short-term diet.

Clients have often told me I'm like their own "fitness fairy" because they can "hear" my little reminders I give them in their head when they're doing workouts or making meals on their own. The biggest compliment I hear from my clients is about how they feel genuinely supported and motivated to want to look, feel, and live better by being apart of my programs!

Beyond fitness and nutrition (and my family), my other love is traveling. My family has traveled to many resorts including Mexico, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Curacao, Aruba, and the Virgin Islands. While on vacation, I’m the one taking the fitness classes each day, so I feel that a working fitness vacation is a perfect fit for me!

I currently work with both individuals and small groups in my business, Fired Upp Fitness. I help clients reach their goals via online coaching and in-home coaching. The majority of my clients have been women, but I've helped a handful of their husbands successfully reach their fitness goals, as well.
