My name is Megan, but I also go by Meg to my amazing partner and family, Mom to my 3 boys and 2 fur babies, Aunt Meggie to my 11 nieces and nephews, and sometimes even Megma to my 4 sisters/built-in best friends. I love my family!
I also love yoga. Without much forethought, I added “Yoga I” as a filler elective course during my freshman year at Ohio University. The instructor asked us to breathe out our kidneys and that one cue stoked my curiosity in a way that nothing ever had before, even growing up in competitive gymnastics and dance and playing sports, yoga brought a self awareness that I had never experienced before. Naturally, I love arm balances, inversions, and flowy flows! I teach what I love. All of my classes include breath to movement flows- carefully curated movements meant to bring your mind, body and spirit a little closer together. I also love music and creating purposeful playlists with songs and sounds that enhance your experience on your mat.
I’ve studied and practiced with too many amazing teachers to only name a few, but my first mentors at Yoga Bliss, where I earned my 200 hour certification, were my teachers Amy Boswell and Tracy Rhinehart, two beautiful souls who have inspired goodness in my life beyond measure.
