My name is Kristy Murphy, and wellness is truly my passion. I strongly believe in purpose, and venturing through multiple positions of being an educator and leader, I found my home in wellness and fitness. Through work and personal hobbies, I found that I had a genuine passion for helping others grow in their health, wellness, and fitness. Since 2009, I have had the pleasure of working in a wide variety of settings with a wide variety of social groups, teaching, training, coaching, and instructing. I wouldn't change a second of it, and have many dreams and aspirations to continue to promote and educate in the world of wellness. I was a USA registered boxer, and settled into a role of coaching it when I was ready to step out of competition. I own a wellness & fitness studio in a small town in PA. I acquired my board certification in Health & Wellness coaching to enhance my ability to serve my community and to a much further outreach. I teach between 8-14 classes per week, with a rotating schedule to keep it fun and productive. Some of my participant favorites are cardiokickboxing, BodyPump, and step aerobics. I keep a steady rotation of yoga, Pilates, and much more. In the summer, we take advantage of the beautiful weather and have classes at the university stadium, local pools, and even at the river. On a personal level, I love all things outdoors, and participate in a multitude of activities including hunting, fishing, hiking, softball, riding and more. My dogs, Timber & Ridge (rescued Black & Tan Coonhounds) are not only my shadows, but have played an integral role in bringing joy and comfort to so many! They go to work with me, and play the role of therapy dog on so many levels!
