My name is Shawna Benzinger. I have been in the fitness industry since 1996. I have over 2 decades of experience as a personal trainer and fitness instructor, and have taught several types of classes. I have worked with individuals via private training and group weight training as well.
I have a certification from The American Council on Exercise in Personal Training and Sports Nutrition. I am AED/CPR certified and have a degree in Psychology.

I spent my entire childhood, into my 20's, going up and down in weight, mostly up. I had very little confidence. I needed to get motivated in order to inspire myself to make changes. That motivation comes from deep inside and it allowed me to motivate others as well!
For me, I needed to learn about proper nutrition and exercise, and I needed to implement what I had learned. It became a lifestyle, over 20 years ago, and I am continuing to learn and evolve. I believe that when you truly feel good about yourself, your energy is felt by those around you... it is absolutely amazing.
I love helping others see and experience what their bodies are capable of with just enough hard work! And it's fun!
A healthy lifestyle is much more than just lifting weights. It’s about stretching, warming up, eating healthily, and getting necessary rest and enough sleep. hard I make it a goal to help you achieve a happy and well-balanced lifestyle that will minimize the risk of future health-related issues.
