I am a 19-year-old student at Hofstra University double majoring in Journalism and Dance with a 3.98 GPA. I have been a competitive dancer since the age of three and competed on a collegiate national level. I am trained in ballet, jazz, modern, hiphop, tap, lyrical, contemporary, aerial arts, acro, contortion and zumba. Aside from dance-based activities, I am also the vice president of the biggest national fitness organization for college-age girls called CHAARG at Hofstra University. I was Miss New Jersey's Teen in 2017 and am the current Miss Garden State, competing for Miss New Jersey this year. I just recently interned for New York Family magazine, where I wrote for the digital copy of the magazine and had all of my articles published online!
My family owns a restaurant, which I have grown up working in and it is where I learned both my people skills and how to serve others! I love meeting new people and especially love teaching them Zumba. I teach weekly classes at Jacklyn Fit in South Jersey, where I teach people as young as 8 and as old as 65. My dance background has allowed me to create fun and easy ways for non-dancers to learn Zumba and get an awesome workout from my classes.
I live five minutes from the beach, but I also go to school in the city, so I truly get the best of both worlds. I like to look at the positive in every situation and am always energetic and eager to share my love for Zumba with the world. I LOVE to travel; teaching Zumba at a new destination would be a dream come true!
