Ben Platt

My name is Ben Platt and I have been playing tennis for 10 years. I played tennis my Freshman, Sophomore, and Senior years for Springville High School playing number one singles my Senior year (I played soccer my Junior year). The game of tennis grows on me more and more every year. Tennis has given me the opportunity to make friends with a wide variety of people from various professions and countries. I have received my instructor’s certification from the United States Professional Tennis Association and graduated from Utah State University with a BA degree in Education in December of 2006 and will be receiving my Masters degree of Deaf Education in May of 2008. I love playing tennis because everything I know I learned from tennis. I love teaching tennis because I enjoy helping people to find the complex simplicity of tennis, and the pleasure that comes from mastering it.
