Megan Mazzocco, the A+D Yogini, is an architecture and design journalist, a certified yoga instructor, and author of the A+D Wellness Toolkit, and The Sleep System: 28 Days to Better Sleep. She began teaching in a corporate setting in 2018 and when she observed her practices’ positive impact on individuals and creative teams, she started yogaXdesign to guide architects and designers to a path of ease through yoga. Her CEU, “A+D Toolkit for Daily Creative Renewal” offers a restorative CEU experience to design professionals. Mazzocco has taught for ELA Soccer, Advocate Healthcare, an educational toy developer in the Chicago area, Sherwin-Williams in New York City at the West Elm Holiday Home, and most recently she provided pre-Election Prana yoga for New York-based PR firm Novitá and its clients. Her Sleep for Creativity video is featured in NeoConnect—the online digital component of NeoCon 2020. Mazzocco studied under Suddha Weixler at Chicago Yoga Center, and broadened her knowledge of yoga through workshops with Jay Fields, Manju Jois, Rod Stryker, Gabriel Halpern and Desiree Rumbaugh. She lives in the Spirit Waters of Wauconda, Illinois, [Potawatomi Land] with two kids and two pets who inspire her to be a better human.
