Bachelors and Masters Degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana. 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Certification from Yoga Alliance. 42 years in the Fitness & Aquatic Industry. Water Fitness instructor since 1982. Professional Triathlete 1986-88. Competitive triathlete 1982-2012. Currently competitive open water swimmer, yoga instructor, personal fitness trainer. (Currently teaching Vinyasa Flow Mat Yoga 2X weekly, Chair Yoga 2X weekly, Aqua Yoga 2X weekly, Shallow Water Exercise 2X weekly, and Deep Water Exercise 2X weekly.). YogaFit Certified Instructor since 2008. 200 Hour Vinyasa Flow Certified Yoga Teacher, (Yoga Alliance) since November of 2019. 500 Hour Advanced Certified Yoga Teacher, (Yoga Alliance) since October 2022. 

April 9- 15 & April 12-23, 2023 - FitPro Travel - Yoga Instructor at Couples Tower Isle resort in Jamaica and Couples Swept Away Nigel in Jamaica. Instructed classes daily in the morning and afternoon in the yoga studio at Couples Tower, and mornings in the yoga studio and afternoons on the beach at Couples Swept Away. Yoga instruction included slow flow, restorative, Power, and meditation classes for resort guests.

April 9-16, 2022 - FitPro Travel - Yoga Instructor at Club Med resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Instructed two hour long Yoga classes daily, (8:15 AM and 5:15 PM) to resort guests. Yoga instruction included Power Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, and Restorative Yoga Classes.

2019 to Current - Private Yoga Instructor - Currently teaching Mat Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Restorative, and Aqua Yoga 3-4X weekly to private clients. (Aqua Yoga is taught seasonally in private backyard swimming pool 2X weekly, with Paddleboard Yoga instruction 1X weekly.)

2019 to Current - Indianapolis Avon Hendricks Regional Hospital YMCA Yoga Instructor - Teach Chair Yoga 2X weekly, Mat Yoga 2X weekly, Aqua Yoga 2X weekly to and for YMCA members.

300 Hour Advanced Certified Yoga Teacher Training -  (November 2021 - October 2022) - Completion of Rolf Gates Advanced Vinyasa 300 hour teacher training course in cooperation with Yoga Alliance.

Behavioral Health Hospital Yoga Instructor - (September 2022 - Current) Teach mat yoga to adolescents & adults in a secured locked behavioral health hospital, Plainfield, Indiana 

2019 to Current - Aqua Yoga Instructor - Lead and instruct Yoga in a warm water therapeutic environment to individuals who may exhibit limited range of motion, balance, strength, and endurance due to one of many reasons to include but not limited to hip, knee, shoulder replacement(s), surgery, partial paralysis, stroke, muscular or bone degeneration, illness, etc.
