Vina is a full time mom of 4 adorable and rambunctious boys. She is married to an incredible man who serves in the military. As a military family they have lived on all four coasts and experienced many amazing cultures within the United States and abroad. Vina began her journey in Pilates nearly 9 years ago when she first stepped into a Club Pilates in San Marcos, CA! She started her wellness coaching journey earning her 200hr RYT yoga teacher certificate while pregnant with her first son. Over 2,500 hours of instruction and several additional yoga certifications later, she pursued a Group Exercise Instructor and then NASM Personal Trainer certifications. While working as a trainer, a colleague suggested that she pursue Pilates. Over the past year, amidst the pandemic, she earned her Level 1 Precision Nutrition and STOTT Pilates instructor certifications. Pilates has become such an important factor in her own personal wellness journey enabling her to heal her diastasis recti (abdominal separation) caused by consecutive pregnancies. Vina believes that Pilates is the best kind of functional movement that carries over directly into a happier, healthier way of life. Vina enjoys the challenge of working with all types of people and helping them to find their personal strength and allow their inner light to really shine!
Vina earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Studio Art and Spanish Literature from Indiana University Bloomington and a Master’s of Science in Education from Pennsylvania University in Philadelphia.
