I was born and raised in North Dakota, and I currently live in Fargo. I have always been involved in athletics in some way or another - my passion being more so the performance athletics of cheer and dance, but I also played basketball, softball, and tennis. I cheered in college, where I majored in English Education, and post-college, I cheered/danced for two professional sports teams in Fargo. Once my performance days were over, I became obsessed with group fitness classes and pageants.
In 2008, I earned my masters degree in school counseling, and I have been a high school counselor ever since. Throughout my tenure in education, I coached both cheer and dance teams, as well as competed in several pageants. In 2019, not having coached for a few years, I took my group fitness obsession to the next level and because certified first in Strong Nation, and then became an ACE certified group fitness instructor.
In addition to being a school counselor and group fitness instructor, I am a mom and a wife. My husband and I have been married since 2005, and we have two children, two dogs, two cats, and a lizard and a turtle.
