I first started teaching Yoga because it was part of my job, working as a health fitness specialist, but after going through the trainings and teachings, I found the physical benefits of practicing Yoga helpful with easing my sports injuries. As my body became stronger and healthier, it drove me to continue training and learning more about how Yoga can improve your body and mind. As a teacher and fitness professional I recognize that yoga is not a "one size fits all" practice, and that every person is on a different path. I try to offer my students the opportunity to take that path in their own way at their own pace, to modify when needed and to honor how they feel at all times. I seek to help others thrive in life by nurturing body and mind with Yoga, and my hope is that they step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced.
