Charity Anderson

For over ten years I have been certified as an Aquatics Fitness Instructor through the Aquatics Exercise Association (AEA), an internationally recognized organization for aquatics training.  Maintaining my certification has required me to attend AEA sponsored workshops and stay educated in the latest water fitness and safety techniques, as well as continuing my CPR and First Aid certification.  In addition, the various health facilities I have worked at have provided additional training, such as lifeguard and rescue strategies.

My diverse experience as an aquatics fitness instructor has included various class types, age populations, and facility types.  My first teaching position included a traditional high-intensity class.  From there, I expanded my expertise and taught a variety of classes, including Ai Chi, pregnancy-appropriate, and those geared toward aging populations. I have had the opportunity in my teaching career to  instruct at city recreation centers, member-only facilities, and private prominent health clubs.  I have taught both in and outside the state of Utah.  With all of these positions I have created and honed original fitness routines, collaborated with fellow coworkers, and presented myself in an appropriate manner. and, in general, gone above and beyond employee expectations.
