Callie discovered yoga in 2016 while in search for relief from chronic and debilitating pain. Callie tried her first yoga class in Greenville, SC, not knowing at the time how yoga would help her heal from a lifetime of physical and emotional pain, trauma, and unhealthy behaviors. Over the next three years, Callie began to experience a deep spiritual, emotional and physical connection to the practice.
In May of 2020, Callie became certified for the Yoga of 12 Step Recovery program with Nikki Meyers. After this certification, it became clear to Callie that she had been called to become a RYT. As Callie offered the Y12SR program to her community and near by rehabilitation centers at no cost, she started and completed her RYT200 by May 2021.
Callie enjoys teaching mindful and gentle classes that are safe and inviting to all. Callie also offers Y12SR to the community as an act of service.
