I have been in the fitness industry for over 30 years.
I began my quest for health and fitness at a young age because I always struggled with my weight. I topped out at 220 pounds I have lost 65 pounds and have kept it off for 16 years. I found what was most important wasn’t just the number the scale, it was being healthy, fit and strong ~ Body and Mind!
I exercise because I love the way it makes me feel, It has changed my body shape and size. Exercise helps to relieve my chronic pain and I have found it assists me in my everyday actions. I am stronger and able to do things that I couldn’t do when I was carrying so much weight.
As a bonus it also is the best stress reducer I could ever ask for!
I become a personal trainer and an Inspirational health coach to get as much education as I could in nutrition, woman’s body composition and the study of psychology, health and wellness.
I continue to learn the physiology of the body and how it works. I love to help others with their struggles and celebrate their achievements in health and wellness.
I love to work with Active Aging clients who want to remain mobile, healthy and young in body and mind.
My mission is to teach you how to create healthy habits and behaviors that lead you to a longer and healthier life, while steering away from the unhealthy behaviors that led you to me!
