I started participating in aerobics after my first knee surgery in college. I became certified and have been teaching ever since. I taught step and yoga for 15 years. I currently teach a weight lifting (like BodyPump) class, sculpting and spin classes 6 days a week. I also work a full-time job in a law firm, but aerobics has always been my passion. I love helping people and sharing my knowledge. I love learning about our bodies and better ways to make them more efficient and healthy. Assisting people with their personal fitness and maintaing a healthy lifestyle gives me personal satisfaction. I love doing race warmups and loved running races for a cause (March of Dimes, City of Hope, etc.) until my sixth knee surgery, and now I am not allowed to run long distances. But I'm still standing strong, I love fitness and being active. I am driven by working hard and like to encourage others to be the best they can be. My daughter has trained for 14 years in ballet and modern dance, and I love learing from her as well. My son is in a college military program, and I even love the PT work he puts me through!! I hope that I can inspire everyone to continue working out, even after injuries, and lead by example, since I had a total knee replacement at age 39. Still at it and loving every moment!!
