Lauren Milner

My name is Lauren Milner and my passion is helping people learn to live healthier, happier lives. I love helping people reach their goals both in the gym and in their every day lives. I have been a NASM Certified Personal Trainer since 2009 and an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 2014. I am a lifelong athlete and runner. I played multiple sports growing up and was fortunate to earn a college scholarship to play softball. I have been lifting weights and conditioning since high school and love sharing that knowledge and passion for fitness with everybody I coach and meet. I enjoy Spartan obstacle course races and run 3 per year. I love running and trail running and have completed many 5ks, 10-milers, and half-marathons. 

I am an experienced real estate investor, teacher, team leader, and self-motivated business professional. In fitness, I have founded many successful niche organizations, included a profitable fitness program for moms, run clubs, tennis-fitness hybrid programs, and a non-profit 501 (c) (3) youth swim team. I have held many different positions in the sports and fitness community, including Fitness Director, Personal Trainer, Personal Trainer Certificate Program Instructor, Bootcamp Instructor, health science teacher, fitness writer, and coach of a variety of youth sports.

I am proud to be a veteran of the US Army. Prior to my career in athletics and teaching, I served 5 years as a Persian Farsi linguist from 2003-2008. In addition to my duties as a linguist, I was entrusted with the management of my unit's training requirements (Training NCOIC) and oversight of the Company Operations Room. In civilian terms, this would be the equivalent of being the office manager for 3 high level executives for a staff of 160 Soldiers.
