Professionally, I'm a historian and work at a university while also still attending as a student. There's no way I could balance work and school if I did not have my passion for fitness as well, keeping me balanced, motivated, and energized. I began studying fitness through the university in 2017 with a Pilates course. I immediately fell in love and decided to continue taking fitness training classes in my following semesters, taking a yoga course, a group running course, and then repeating Pilates simply because I loved it. I began doing private studies and assisting teaching classes at the university in yoga and Pilates in 2018 and obtained official certification through ACE two years later. I've been teaching with my local country club since September of 2020, beginning with yoga and Pilates and then adding a senior fitness course after obtaining a specialization in Senior Fitness through ACE in December of 2020.
